Topical Issue selection criteria
Deputy Keaveney challenges the Ceann Comhairle over refusing to select a Topical Issue concerning the Tuam remains and seeks objective criteria. The Ceann Comhairle rejects the intervention, directs him to discuss it privately, and orders him to leave when he refuses to resume his seat.
The programme for Government provides for an ambitious political reform agenda, entitled Change Must Start from the Top. Will the Minister share with the House the Standing Orders provided for Topical Issue matters? This morning, I put forward a matter for a Topical Issue with respect to the identification of 800 bodies in a mass grave-----
