Loan book sale legislation

Summary

Michael McGrath asks when legislation regulating sales of loan books to unregulated third parties will be published; the Minister says it remains scheduled for this session.

On a number of occasions before the recess, we discussed the situation relating to the sale of loan books to unregulated third parties Bill and the Minister committed to bringing it forward earlier than 2015. It is listed for this session but does the Minister know specifically when it will be published? I know his Department had a public consultation exercise, which has concluded, but the sooner we see the Bill, the better.
