815. Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if she will provide an update on a school building project (details supplied) in County Meath; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [29066/15]

The tendering process for PPP Bundle 5, which includes the school to which the Deputy refers, has reached the selection of the Preferred Tenderer stage with selection scheduled to be finalised in August. The targets of having a contract in place with the Preferred Tenderer by February 2016 remains with construction scheduled to begin immediately thereafter.

Enabling works for the school have been identified and will proceed to construction later this year independently of the PPP contract.
