Banking and mortgage write-downs
Peter Mathews attempts to raise Bank of Ireland conduct, mortgage write-downs and alleged suicide linked to bank pressure, despite repeated rulings that these matters are outside the Order of Business. He is ordered to leave the Chamber.

There is a thing called order in the House. These matters should be raised by means of parliamentary questions, Topical Issue matters and a number of other things, but not on the Order of Business. If the Deputy asks about promised legislation, he will be in order.
