Questions on rumours

Summary

The Ceann Comhairle reminded Members that rumours were not appropriate for promised legislation questions, but the Deputies insisted the route issue was in the programme for Government. The Minister said he could not answer and advised them to submit a parliamentary question.

We cannot really have questions on rumours. It is meant to be questions on promised legislation.

Comment on this

I have to advise the Deputies to table a parliamentary question on the matter as I am not in a position to answer their questions on it.
