What is the point of order?

Comment on this

Is it in accordance with Standing Orders to state in the House that three people who are not Members of this House and cannot defend themselves are guilty of perjury?

Comment on this

That is the assertion that has been made. I ask that the Official Report be looked at. I do not know these people. I have no axe to grind one way or the other but it has been stated in the House that people told lies in their evidence to the court.

The matter will be examined.

Would Deputy Paul Murphy repeat it outside?

Comment on this

The matter will be examined today. I call Deputy Joan Collins.
