Time for questions on promised legislation
The Ceann Comhairle brought the questions period to a close and said the House must move to the next business. Members then asked for extra time, but he refused, citing the 15-minute limit and the lack of provision to extend it.
We need to conclude. I am sorry that Members keep interrupting the Minister when he is answering. The time has now elapsed for questions on promised legislation. We must therefore proceed to the next business.

In light of the fact that there are no votes to take, could the Ceann Comhairle extend it for ten minutes?

There are only five or six of them. It would take ten minutes.
