Deputy Seán Barrett asked the Minister for Education and Skills the reason the decision was taken to decrease enrolment opportunities for the early childhood care and education, ECCE, scheme to only once a year in September in view of the fact it used to be reopened in January and April also (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter.
