168. Deputy Brendan Ryan asked the Minister for Education and Skills further to Parliamentary Question No. 541 of 23 July 2019, if the tender report has been approved; if the letter of intent has issued; if a letter of acceptance has issued; when construction will commence on site; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Deputy is aware, the delivery of the Maynooth Campus project has been devolved to Kildare and Wicklow Education & Training Board (KWETB).

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the tender report for this project has been approved by my Department. The Letter of Acceptance has issued and construction commenced yesterday. It is expected that the project will be completed before September 2020.
