Rail Services Provision

511. Deputy Tony McLoughlin asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will introduce a system in which persons with a travel pass can book seats on Irish Rail trains in view of the fact the current system is leading to situations whereby sick and elderly persons are left standing long distances on trains; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
