The operation of the commercial vehicle roadworthiness testing (CVRT) system under the Roadworthiness (Vehicle Testing) (No. 2) Regulations 2013 (SI 347/2013) is the statutory responsibility of the Road Safety Authority. CVRT is carried out at 148 authorised CVRT centres, which are run by private operators under agreement with the RSA.
