225. Deputy Pa Daly asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media when she anticipates opening the grant scheme for smaller cultural venues, as announced in Budget 2025. [40201/24]

Grassroots venues help support and nurture our artists, bands and musicians at the start of their career and are so important in generating vibrancy and cultural diversity in our night-time economy. The grant scheme which I recently announced in Budget 2025 will provide much needed support for these venues.

My officials will now begin working through the details and parameters of this grant scheme. This will include engagement with key stakeholders to ensure the scheme has maximum impact. Further details, including the opening date for the scheme, will be announced in due course.
