284. Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for Education the reason why a teacher (details supplied) who notified her Department of a change in their banking arrangements has not been paid their salary for the past several weeks; and if she will take steps to rectify this. [41069/24]

I can confirm to the Deputy that the bank account change requested by the teacher concerned has been updated on the payroll system and salary due will be paid into the new bank account as requested.
