138. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media the amount spent by her Department on public relations in each of the past ten years and to date in 2024, in tabular form. [41780/24]

The Communications Unit of my Department, comprising the Press Office and Digital Communications teams, fulfil the public relations remit within the Department. As such, I am advised by my officials that there has been no expenditure on, or external assistance sought with, Departmental or Ministerial public relations since my Department was constituted in its current configuration in September 2020.
