Charlie McConalogue Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Fianna Fáil

If an individual is bringing a dog into Ireland from the UK, it must be treated for tapeworm by a vet between 1 and 5 days before arrival in Ireland. If the individuals means of travel are delayed and the 5-day window has been exceeded, the individual should get a second tapeworm treatment completed.
