Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to the treatment of a person (details supplied); if he will confirm whether proper procedures and Defence Forces regulations, including TS INF 090/2018 Amendment 5, were adhered to during the assessment and retesting process; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am advised by the Military Authorities that an internal review has been undertaken in relation to this particular case. I understand that as a result of the review the matter has been resolved and the individual in question has indicated they are satisfied with its resolution.
