Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

Summary

Labour pressed for a funded timetable to roll out DEIS Plus to the schools with highest disadvantage, arguing it needs targeted supports such as smaller classes, more SNAs, guidance and community liaison staff, and expanded meal and completion schemes. The Minister of State said DEIS Plus is well advanced, funding is being sought, and the DEIS plan will be published this year, but gave no rollout date.
