John McGuinness An Leas-Cheann Comhairle Fianna Fáil

That brings an end to Questions on Policy or Legislation. Before we break for a sos, I will mention the death of Philippa Bayliss, the internationally renowned artist. She was born in Kilkenny in 1940. She lived in Myshall and died tragically during the week as the result of an accident. I join with the world of art in sending my condolences to her family members.

With the Leas-Cheann Comhairle's indulgence, as Minister with responsibility for the sector, I will join with him and with the House in extending the sympathies of my Department and of the Government to the family on their loss. It is not just a loss to the family but the loss of a great cultural icon here in Ireland.
