437. Deputy Michael Lowry asked the Minister for Defence her views on a matter (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1184/26]

The military authorities have advised that a review of the matter referred to by the Deputy has been undertaken.

This record shows that individual was awarded a service medal, complete with a 21 year service bar, on the 15th May 2007.

The military authorities have further advised that it is not possible to confirm if this medal was physically presented at that time but, should the individual wish to receive a replacement medal, they may apply for a replacement medal using the form at the following link.
