Weekly business arrangements
The Chief Whip declines the amendment and says the week is already busy, listing upcoming legislation and statements. The House is asked to agree the arrangements, but Deputy Mac Lochlainn says they are not agreed.
I thank the Ceann Comhairle. I will not be accepting that amendment. In relation to all the issues that were raised by the various spokespersons, we can consider all of them on Thursday. We have a really busy schedule in the next few days. We have the Child Care (Amendment) Bill this afternoon, there are two items of Private Members' business from the Opposition with one on mental health and the other on disability, we have statements on infrastructure and we have the International Protection Bill. The Order of Business stands as discussed last Thursday.

Thank you, Chief Whip. Are the proposed arrangements for the week's business agreed to and the proposed amendment negatived?

Question put: "That the amendment proposed to the arrangements on the Order of Business is hereby negatived and the proposed arrangements for the week's business are hereby agreed to."
