Deputy Natasha Newsome Drennan asked the Minister for Health the number of step-down beds in Kilkenny and Carlow, by location for each year 2023, 2024 and 2025; the number which are public; the number which are leased from private nursing homes, in tabular form; and if she will make a statement on the matter. As this is an operational matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond directly to the Deputy as soon as possible.
