Kevin Boxer Moran Minister of State at the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation Independent

I propose to take Questions Nos. 411 and 412 together.

The OPW can confirm that works were requested by An Garda Síochána and the Revenue Commissioners, relating to building kennels at private dwellings for canines used in their respective Canine Units.

From 2020 to 2023 the OPW carried out works to the value of €109,932 (incl VAT) at 5 private locations throughout the country.

Since 2023, the OPW are no longer involved in installing dog kennels in private residences.
