Following a request from the Courts Service, the Office of Public Works (OPW) carried out a full building condition survey on Donegal Courthouse. The report was provided to the Courts Service in January of 2026 for their consideration.

OPW are not in a position to comment on re-opening the courthouse, this query should be directed to the Court Service.
