The school referred to by the Deputy was approved to enter the Department’s pipeline of school buildings under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme for a project providing one Mainstream Classroom. This project is devolved to the school authority for delivery.

I can confirm that the Stage 2b (Detailed Design) report was submitted to my Department in Q4 2025. As with all projects progressing through the programme, it is subject to the established due diligence processes set out in the Infrastructure Guidelines. This includes managing timing, scope, and cost to staying within budgetary limits for the overall programme.

This project remains part of the overall pipeline of school building projects and will continue to be managed in line with National Development Plan prioritisation parameters.
