Hildegarde Naughton Minister for Education and Youth Fine Gael

As per previous correspondence, the school to which the Deputy refers was approved to enter my Department's pipeline of projects under the Additional School Accommodation (ASA) scheme. The project will provide one mainstream classroom, two Special Education Tuition (SET) rooms, and a two class-room special education needs (SEN) base. The project was devolved to the school authority to deliver.

My Department are currently awaiting the submission of the Stage 2a (developed design) report from the school authority. Once received, a comprehensive review will be undertaken from a technical and cost perspective as required under the Infrastructure Guidelines.
