Deputy Mairéad Farrell asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment if his Department has received any independent legal advice since February 2019 regarding the legitimacy of the Conservation of and Prohibition on Sale of Coarse Fish Bye-Law (No. 806) 2006 and the Conservation of Pike Bye-Law (No. 809) 2006 in Special Areas of Conservation (SACs); and if he will make a statement on the matter.
