Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht the total number of children between ages three and 18 living in the Gaeltacht who speak Irish daily outside the education system, who attend an Irish medium school, or who are being raised through Irish. The statistics referred to by the Deputy are available from the Central Statistics Office should the Deputy require further information regarding data on daily Irish speakers outside the education system, who attend an Irish medium school or those raised through Irish.
