243. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Transport the position regarding a licence exchange (details supplied); the reason for the delay in exchanging a licence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [48629/26]

I wish to advise that all enquiries related to driver licensing are handled by the National Driver Licence Service, provision of which is delegated under national legislation to the Road Safety Authority. Neither I nor my Department have any role in individual driving licence applications.
