Deputy Albert Dolan asked the Minister for Health the extent of the use of SMS messaging systems for outpatient appointment reminders across public hospitals and healthcare facilities; the number of messages issued and level of utilisation by each site; whether all facilities with access to such systems are making full use of them; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
