Disability Services

682. Deputy Fionntán Ó Súilleabháin asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the procedures in place where a child requires specialist intervention that cannot be provided by their local CDNT due to staffing shortages; and whether the HSE considers it acceptable that children may remain without essential services because required professionals are unavailable locally. As this question refers to service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
