Killala Gardens forms part of the wider Cork City Northwest Quarter Regeneration programme.

Cork City Council is advancing the phased delivery of social housing to facilitate the relocation of existing residents as part of the City Northwest Quarter Regeneration programme.

Killala Gardens forms part of Phases 4 and 5 of the regeneration programme. It is my Department's understanding, based on information provided by Cork City Council, that it is currently anticipated that the relocation of existing residents from Killala Gardens to their new homes will commence in 2027 and continue into 2028/2029 as the new homes currently under construction and at design stage come to completion.
