364. Deputy Thomas Gould asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage whether any funding application or feasibility study has been supplied on regeneration in Blackpool, Cork. [54361/26]

My Department has provided funding approval to Cork City Council and Approved Housing Bodies for a number of individual housing projects in the Blackpool area.

At a strategic level, we understand that Cork City Council is currently preparing the ‘Blackpool Village Core Concept Design & Implementation Strategy’ which will be a non-statutory strategy focused on the revitalisation of the Blackpool village core which is due to be finalised and published in Q3 2026.
