The school referred to has been approved to enter my Department’s school building programme under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme for the provision of one mainstream classroom.

A combined Stage 1/2a (Developed Design) report was submitted to the Department in February 2026. In July 2026, Department officials sought further clarification on aspects of the submission. The project will be reviewed further when the requested information has been received.

As the project is currently under review, it is not possible at this stage to provide a definitive timeline for its progression. Advancement to the next phase will be subject to the outcome of the assessment process and the project’s prioritisation within the framework of the National Development Plan.
