My Department responded to the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation request for efficiencies and reforms required to implement the levy that will apply to my Department’s current expenditure in 2027. Significant efficiency measures have already been implemented across my Department to ensure that resources are used effectively and these measures will continue into 2027.
Full details on my Departments financial allocation for 2027, taking account of the levy reduction and the upcoming Estimates process, will be finalised and announced in the Budget. Detailed allocations at programme and subhead level will be set out in Revised Estimates Volume (REV) in December.
