Dara Calleary Minister for Social Protection Fianna Fáil

The person concerned applied for Jobseekers Pay Related Benefit (JPRB) on the 01/05/2026.

As the person concerned did not have the required number of Irish PRSI contributions to qualify for JPRB, a UK Record request was submitted on the 20/05/2026.

A follow up request was sent to UK Records on the 12/06/2026 and on 15/7/2026.

The required records were received by the Department on July 17th and Jobseekers Pay Related Benefit has now been awarded from the 4/5/2026.

The person concerned has been advised that the first payment together with any arrears due will be paid on the 22/7/2026.  A decision letter to this effect has also issued to the person concerned.

I trust this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
