Deputy Paula Butterly asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the number of reported breaches of barring orders and interim barring orders recorded by An Garda Síochána in each of the past five years; the number of prosecutions and convictions arising from such breaches; the Garda division and county breakdown of these figures; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have sought the information requested by the Deputy from An Garda Síochána but it has not been made available on time. I will write to the Deputy when it is received.

The information sought in relation to convictions falls within the remit of the Courts Service and has been referred to them for direct response.
