Deputy John Clendennen asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will provide an independent, multi-annual Exchequer funding stream for the Land Mobility Service, including the €150,000 annual allocation sought by an organisation (details supplied) in its Pre-Budget 2027 Submission; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In advance of the Budget 2027 negotiations, I will engage extensively with agri-food stakeholders, including the organisation to which the Deputy refers. All pre-Budget submissions are taken into consideration in developing proposals for the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation on expenditure.

It would not be appropriate to comment in advance of the 2027 Budget on any matters that might be the subject of Budget 2027 decisions.
