I propose to take Questions Nos. 2676 and 2678 together.
The tillage sector is a critical part of agriculture in Ireland. My Department has a number of schemes specifically designed to support the tillage sector, including the Straw Incorporation Measure (SIM) and Protein Aid.
The specific data that the Deputy has requested relating to tillage farming is not available at present. I have requested that this information be collated and will be provided to the Deputy in the near future.
