Early Childhood Care and Education
The Department is compiling requested annual funding, participation and facility data for early years programmes from 2020 to 2026, with a reply to follow.

Deputy Mark Wall asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality to provide a breakdown of the public funding commitment to early years education and care in each year since 2020 up to 2026, broken down by specific programme such as ECCE, National Childcare Scheme, core funding, access and inclusion model, Early Start, building blocks improvement grant etc, in tabular form; the number of children supported by each scheme in each year; the total number of early year facilities supported by each programme on an annual basis; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
