The Minister asked the HSE to respond regarding grants for a para cyclist’s world championship training camp and specialised equipment.

Deputy Claire Kerrane asked the Minister for Health the HSE grants available for a para athlete who has been selected for the world championships in America for Para cycling having become national champion in Ireland to support his pre-worlds training camp and equipment for the bike, particularly equipment where there is nothing available from the Department of Sport or Cycling Ireland; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
