The Minister referred the question about HSE contributions to non-funded treatment providers to the HSE for a response.

Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Health when a person is directed by a treatment centre (details supplied) to a treatment provider that is not funded by the HSE, whether any contribution is made by the HSE or by the treatment centre towards the cost of that treatment; if not, the policy basis for this; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
