Deputy William Aird asked the Minister for Health the measures being taken to improve the provision of palliative care services for persons with dementia in County Laois; whether additional funding, staffing or specialist supports will be provided to ensure equitable access to palliative and end-of-life care for dementia patients in the county; whether there are plans to expand community-based and specialist dementia palliative care services in Laois; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
