Deputy Sorca Clarke asked the Minister for Health if she has been made aware of reports that the Saint Marie Goretti Ward at the Cluain Lir Care Centre, Mullingar, may be facing closure; if she will confirm whether any proposal to close or reconfigure this ward is under consideration by the HSE; the engagement that has taken place with patients, families and staff regarding the future of the ward; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
