Darragh O'Brien Minister for Transport Fianna Fáil

I propose to take Questions Nos. 392, 393, 397 and 398 together.

I thank the Deputy for their questions and the opportunity to clarify a statement made during debates on the Dublin Airport (Passenger Capacity) Bill 2026 concerning a retention application in respect of flight paths at Dublin Airport.

For the avoidance of doubt, there is no retention application relating to the flight paths at Dublin Airport.

It is important to note that while certain flight paths may have been the subject of consultation as part of the North Runway planning process, flight paths are not a planning condition applicable to Dublin Airport.

As the Deputy will be aware, I have committed to ensuring that an independent assessment of flight paths at Dublin Airport will be undertaken at the appropriate time.

I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
