James Lawless Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science Fianna Fáil

My Department submitted efficiency and reform proposals to the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation on 17th July 2026.

These proposals form part of the on-going estimates process for 2027. I am not in a position to provide details of the proposals, as to do so may disclose positions taken, or to be taken, by my Department for the purpose of future Budget negotiations with the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation.
