One external HEO recruitment process is underway for a bilingual internal auditor; no others occurred since 2025, with vacancies filled internally or through mobility.

My Department currently has one external recruitment process in progress at the grade of Higher Executive Officer (HEO), via publicjobs.ie. This is for a specific role as a bilingual internal auditor (HEO grade). No other external recruitment campaigns or processes have taken place at HEO grade since the start of 2025 with relevant vacancies being filled by way of interdepartmental promotions, internal competitions and civil service mobility.
