Údarás na Gaeltachta is assessing tenders for a planned state-of-the-art multi-purpose educational facility, with tender details withheld to protect the ongoing process.
4304. Deputy Mairéad Farrell asked the Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht the number and value of tenders for an educational building (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [58950/26]

The development referred to by the Deputy is one of my Department’s strategic priorities under the National Development Plan. The current building at the site is owned by Údarás na Gaeltachta and it is planned to develop a modern, state of the art multi-purpose facility in its place.
The tender process in respect of the development is being managed by Údarás na Gaeltachta who are currently assessing the tenders received. It would be inappropriate to provide any information regarding the tender process at this stage as, to do so, could potentially compromise same.
