676. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance the total number of individual taxpayer units that would be impacted by reducing the pension relief earnings limit by amounts (details supplied), in tabular form. [55033/26]

I am advised by Revenue that the table below provides tentative estimates of the number of taxpayer units that may be impacted by the adjustments to the earnings limit, from the current limit of €115,000, that are proposed by the Deputy. A taxpayer unit refers to individuals except in the case of jointly assessed couples in which case the couple are referred to as one unit.
