1049. Deputy Noel McCarthy asked the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment to provide an update on an employment permit appeal application for a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [57488/26]

The Employment Permits Unit of the Department informs me that the application for the person concerned (details supplied) was received by the Department on 12th January 2026 and it was refused on 16th February 2026. A request for a review of the refusal decision was received on 3rd March 2026.

The appeal is currently under consideration by the Reviewing Officer. A decision in respect of the appeal will issue in due course.
