Patrick O'Donovan Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport Fine Gael

The Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation wrote to my Department earlier this year outlining that the levy on the Department's current expenditure would be 1.4%, which amounts to €11 million.

The levy is to be applied to the 2027 vote allocation for my Department and will form part of the 2027 Estimates negotiations.
